Let's Talk Dehydration

Let's Talk Dehydration

Water is essential for life. We cannot live without it as it makes up a huge percentage of our bodies. According to the U.S. Department of the interior, "the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%."

We know that with every year that passes, our bodies lose muscle and tissue mass. It is part of the natural process of aging. But, did you know that you store water in there? That means our capacity to store water diminishes as we age!

Therefore, it is necessary to drink more frequently today than you have in years past.
